How I Cured my Hereditary Raynaud’s Syndrome

Imagine the distress of seeing your fingers turn white from blood circulation loss from exposure to cold temperatures. The pain that ensues when they are not warmed up again. That is what I was ‘cursed’ with as a fact of life for seven years.

Raynaud’s Syndrome, also called Raynaud’s Phenomenon in medical literature, is an autonomic nervous system response to cold temperatures. This response can be from touching or holding cold objects or exposure to cold weather.

When a Raynaud’s nervous system senses cold exposure, it causes the capillaries, the small blood vessels in the finger tips, toes and sometimes other small extremities. Thus, blood flow is reduced and color flushes, the affected area usually turns , white, blue or purple. The latter colors are the more severe responses that require faster treatment.

The first time I, or to be clear my walk-out, saw his fingers turn white was after returning from an evening walk with his dog in mid September. He was freaked out, but did not say anything to anyone. Instead he tried what he could to warm up—warm water turned out to be more effective than pockets.

When I, as the walk-in soul who writes this, first saw a sign of remission from this hereditary disease I was amazed and excited. I did not know that this could or would happen for me. It was early April of 2025 and I was carrying two cold cans of sparkling water in one hand, my and my ex-wife’s dogs leash in the other. I was so sure that my hand would be snow white after I got inside. “No biggy, I will just have to warm up under warm water.” To my amazement, my fingers were red with blood flow throughout! This was just shy of my twenty ninth birthday.

So what changed? How did I send my hereditary affliction into remission, which my walk-out and I had spent years working with doctors, nutritionists, acupuncturists and healers trying to improve?

Two months prior to this I started a practice of drumming my synthetic buffalo drum over lake Washington. I would do this consistently every other morning, despite the cold early morning temperatures over the lake. Yet, somehow my fingers did not turn white while doing this.

The physical factors that I suspect played into the maintained circulation are the walking out to the location and the physical vibration of the drum. Such a frequency probably helped to recalibrate my nervous system.

But the metaphysical factors are what have remained more consistent over time. The primary one I suspect changed is the use of will power to go out into a cold morning setting and do something that makes me feel good. The chosen life over the fated life. It turns out, peer reviewed studies have proven that the body responds to the behavior of the mind and personality.

Remission happened, but was that a cure?

I have to be honest, my ‘Raynaud’s’ has not disappeared 100%. I still see splotches of white in my fingers as a result of cold exposure and carrying weighted items. But I seem to have just about stopped experiencing total whitening in my fingers that requires some time to warm up. In fact, red blood circulation to my finger tips seems to be a new fact of my life!

How do I keep red blood circulation? Can that be controlled?

One evening in early November I was driving home when I felt the tip of my middle finger lose circulation. I did not have the heat or air on, nor did I turn it on. I simply did some intentional deep breathing into my belly and with every breath, I breathed qi/reiki in and out of my fingers. Especially pushing energy out my fingers did it. I ‘pushed’ blood back into my finger tip!

I am proud to report that as of February 2026, I have been able to stand outdoors in 35-45 degree weather and still watch red blood circulate through my finger tips! This includes watching my capillaries stay visible through my skin. The rule used to be that my fingers would turn white in 65 degree temperatures. A remarkable reversal what I used to believe was an incurable condition for me.

Raynaud’s Syndrome is curable. I did not need a medical doctor to accomplish my remission. However, I will need a signed referral form with a signature from your Primary Care Physician or specialist doctor to start working with you to guide you towards your remission.
